The project
Geowellex's primary solution is a real-time remote monitoring system that assists our partners, engineers, and geologists in making strategic decisions during well drilling. However, access to the system was limited to computers, making it challenging to monitor data when the user was not near their workstation. With Geowellex Mobile, the idea is to make this access more efficient through smartphones.

Difficulty in analysis without a nearby computer

Complexity of adapting data for a mobile environment
Need to highlight the strategic differential with the app
Develop a mobile version of the existing web system
Present the most relevant data for quick and objective analysis
Provide an effective and efficient solution for the company's partners
Over 100 downloads completed with active partner users using the app
App offering a complete real-time data analysis solution plus a unit conversion tool, being the only one in the industry to combine both functions.
Research and Discovery
We conducted a competitor analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each solution in the market. We mapped out strategies to provide a competitive edge, using surveys and interviews with geologists and engineers to identify needs and determine which data to migrate from the web to mobile


Focus on Quick Results and System Efficiency
Based on the research, we collaborated with stakeholders to prioritize solution ideas through a 2x2 matrix, forming our MVP. This approach accelerated the app's delivery to key clients and facilitated learning during the construction process.


Problem Resolution and Facilitation of Engineers' Work
Finally, we conducted usability tests to assess the solution's effectiveness and gather insights for future improvements. With an 80% success rate in completed tasks and positive feedback, the app demonstrated success in solving problems and enhancing engineers' work.

Expanding the understanding of the problem through user research yielded crucial insights for the solution's construction. Additionally, the importance of involving the technology team in all stages was highlighted, aligning objectives and technical efforts, resulting in the app's launch meeting both customer and company expectations.
